We installed a slightly more potent 351 engine over the summer (2008) and ran mid-10's our first day out. As the new engine breaks in, the car gets a little quicker each week. With street tires and mufflers, it becomes a street-legal vehicle, running on pump gas (10.2 to 1 compression). Power windows, lights, wipers, etc. are all still functional. Notice the stock 4-lug Merkur wheels!!! (The rears have been widened to 10"). It was my intention to have the quickest, normally-aspirated Merkur/Sierra in the world. (Did I make it?) I hope to have a video posted on here eventually. It hooks up great and consistently raises the front wheels about 6" on every run.
